Innovation Qualcomm Berlin 2012

Innovation Qualcomm Berlin 2012 took place 10-11 September 2012 at Kosmos in Berlin.


IQ2012 is Qualcomm's exclusive annual mobile industry event that brings together the brightest minds in the mobile ecosystem - from equipment and device manufacturers, operators, and developers to content providers, media and analysts.


At IQ2012, attendees experienced hands-on access to the latest in mobile technology, products and services as well as insight to "the future of mobile" through demonstrations, technical learning opportunities, and visionary keynotes from Qualcomm's senior executives, including Steve Mollenkopf, President and Chief Operating Officer.


Specific demonstrations and discussions this year covered 2G to 3G and 4G migration, the evolution of air interfaces to further improve the user experience, and our Snapdragon chipset portfolio to name but a few. More information on the demos can be found here.


Recognising the importance and extensive opportunities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, IQ2012 was open to anyone working across these territories in the Wireless Ecosystem. IQ2012 was attended by over 500 senior industry executives, managers, engineers and programmers from publisher, developer, content provider, wireless service operator, device manufacturer and technology provider companies, as well as industry press and analysts.


IQ2012 was hosted in the city of Berlin. As Germany's capital the city has undergone enormous changes in the past 100 years. No longer divided, this city is now a thriving, modern and dynamic destination, and was the perfect backdrop for an event which looked to the future, and celebrated opportunity and innovation.

IQ2011 was a true WOW-experience for me. I had fun listening to the keynotes and learning about technological visions.
IQ was an exciting event and it was really interesting to get an overview of what's going on. The demo sessions offered us the opportunity to experience Qualcomm's breakthroughs and to get the flavour of what life will be in the future. It was fun!
It was a great pleasure attending the IQ event 2011 and definitely was the best event I have ever been too. The information was useful and I would have to say I have learned a lot more about Qualcomm.
It was really an "Innovation Summit."
